Whether you’re curious, learning the basics, or recently accepted Islam, AMCC supports your next steps with compassionate answers.
Take real-life steps at your pace—supported with guidance, learning, and belonging.

You won’t be left to figure it out alone. You’ll have a structured, supportive path through the New Muslims Program, with personal guidance and clear next steps.
AMCC is an Islamic organization and masjid founded in 2012 in Longwood, Florida, serving Muslims in Central Florida through prayer services, Islamic education, youth and sisters programs, community welfare, and new Muslim support.
If you’re wondering “Discover Islam—where do I begin?” this is your starting plan.
After you reach out, we connect you with a New Muslim Buddy (a real person you can message or meet). You can share where you are on your journey.
Follow a guided learning path: core beliefs, Quran basics, Islamic etiquette, and prayer foundations (salat basics + Wudu guidance).
Understand what to expect when you visit the masjid—where to sit, what to do, and how prayer times work.
Get warm introductions to volunteers, sisters programs (for women), youth and family-oriented activities—so you feel like you belong.
Ask real questions—about Arabic, understanding, learning Quran while busy, and what happens after you become Muslim.

You’ll also learn how to plan for prayer times, including the Prayer Schedule.
We create a safe place for questions—especially doubts that are normal in the beginning. We address concerns with compassion and clarity.
AMCC offers community welfare support resources, including Zakat-related assistance guidance and referrals to help you access available community services.
Zakat Assistance guidance is available where applicable.
