  • Support your family & wellbeing with guidance and resources
  • Contribute with purpose through sister-centered service and community care

Whether you’re looking for your people, your purpose, or your next step in faith—you’re welcome here.

Who this is for (especially Teen Girls & Emerging Sisters)

Our Sisters Programs are designed to feel age-appropriate, supportive, and empowering, including for:

  • Teen girls who want positive role models, friendship, and Islamic growth that feels real
  • Younger “emerging sisters” who are developing their identity, confidence, and routine with Islam
  • New Muslim sisters who want warm, respectful support as they learn and settle in
  • Sisters who want sister-only community, honest conversations, and practical help

This is a space where you don’t have to pretend you “have it all together.” You can grow at your pace.

What you can expect at AMCC Sisters Programs

Sisters Programs typically include a mix of spiritual growth, sisterhood, wellbeing support, and service opportunities—so faith becomes connected to your real life.

1) Spiritual growth (learning that actually helps)

You’ll find gatherings that support your faith and routine, such as:

  • Islamic learning sessions: classes, lectures, reminders
  • Study circles and learning recaps
  • Short reflections that strengthen iman and confidence
  • “Learn together” moments where questions are welcomed

Theme focus: From connection to growth—because consistent reminders and community make staying strong easier.

2) Sisterhood & belonging (real friendships, real support)

This is sister-only community where you can feel safe, seen, and understood:

  • Mentoring and peer support connections
  • Sister spotlights and behind-the-scenes community moments
  • Social and cultural sister activities
  • Opportunities that help you meet people naturally—without awkwardness

If you’ve ever felt like you’re “the only one” in your life, you’ll find your circle here.

3) Support & empowerment for wellbeing and family life

We believe sisters grow spiritually when their whole life is supported. That’s why AMCC Sisters Programs often include access to guidance topics and resources such as:

  • Family and wellbeing support topics
  • Guidance for new Muslim sisters and identity development
  • Family And Counseling Services resources (as appropriate to needs), offered in a respectful and supportive environment

Your wellbeing matters—your faith journey needs support, not silence.

4) Service & contribution (faith with impact)

Sister-centered service helps turn learning into action:

  • Charity and community welfare participation (sister-led or sister-focused)
  • Community care efforts aligned with Islamic values
  • Opportunities to be involved in dawah and community support in a way that respects comfort levels

Service isn’t only something “grown-ups do.” At AMCC, sisters learn how to contribute meaningfully—step by step.

Built around AMCC’s mission (welcoming, inclusive, and family-centered)

AMCC is an Islamic organization and masjid founded in 2012 in Longwood, Florida. We serve Muslims in Central Florida through prayer services, Islamic education, youth support, sisters programs, new Muslim support, community welfare, and more.

Our goal is a vibrant, inclusive Muslim community—promoting Islamic teachings, service to humanity, good citizenship, and positive relations with people of other faiths.

Sisters Programs fit right into that mission—because sisterhood is part of community strength.

Noor Magazine: reflection, reminders, and sister inspiration

We also feature Noor Magazine as a faith-building resource—designed to support spiritual growth and encourage sisterhood through meaningful content.

Expect content that helps you:

  • Reflect on iman and identity
  • Stay motivated through consistent reminders
  • Feel inspired by sister-focused stories and guidance

Connection leads to growth, and Noor Magazine helps keep that connection strong between gatherings.

“From connection to growth” — sister stories & community impact

At AMCC, the biggest wins are often simple:

  • A teen girl who starts attending regularly and starts feeling confident in her identity
  • An emerging sister who finds safe friendships and real mentorship
  • A new Muslim sister who learns how to navigate questions, routines, and community respectfully
  • A sister who feels supported at home because she’s supported here

When sisters feel connected, they grow—together.
